Angela Norris-Wilcox           

Angela is a licensing worker at The Center for Youth and Family Solutions in Peoria, Illinois. She provided leadership and project support for a multi-year objective for Peoria South Side Community Wellness Action Plan. Formally, she worked for Life Line Connection Advocacy Center in Peoria Illinois, providing community resources, court support and advocacy for families of the Department of Child and Family Services.

Together, as a human services professional she has over 10 years of family support and advocacy experience. Angela holds a Bachelor of Psychology from Ashford University towards a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. She has an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science and Certification in Drug & Alcohol Counseling from Illinois Central College in East Peoria, Illinois.

Ms. Wilcox is passionate about changing and elevating the mindsets of people that they may live healthier and more productive lives. She is an active volunteer in the community and currently a part of the South Side Strong initiative at Peoria Neighborhood House. She currently resides in her hometown Peoria, Illinois. She has four handsome son’s Shamar, Sharod, Shundale and Steven Jr.
